In an effort to expand access to dance for all people, Forklift leads an annual collaboration with VSA Arts of Texas providing physically integrated dance classes. The objectives of these workshops are to broaden access to the arts for people with disabilities, to expand the movement range and personal approaches to movement for the participants, and to provide an opportunity for dancers with disabilities and able-bodied dancers to dance together.
Our 2009 series has been scheduled! Below find information about our upcoming August workshops. Please pre-register by emailing Administrative Assistant Carly Blair at carly@forkliftdanceworks.org or calling 512/447-6405. Space is limited!
